 Just Stick Her in the Fridge

 

Judy has a recurring dream.

In it she makes a sacrifice

for the good of the planet.

Let the leftovers and condiments

spoil; the dairy and the meat.

Remove the shelves. Make room

for the over-heated blue marble

before the green melts into teal.

Evolution is not ready.

We are not yet buoyant,

nor flame-retardant.

Lack feathers, gills, and fins.
