SOLD!

Fishapple Tree sold at the Marigold Garden Party! It was a very lovely event..but I felt a little out of my element as ..well, I dunno, those sort of events just make me uncomfortable. But, lots of money was raised for the Marigold Centre and Fishapple Tree found a new home, so all is good!

FishApple Tree at Marigold Garden Party at the Norrie House

The Marigold Centre is having a fundraiser this Wednesday and I was asked if I would be interested in having a piece for sale with 25% of the proceeds going to the Marigold Centre. Yes! I said and was happy to be asked. Many great things happen at the Centre and I hope FishApple Tree finds a new home!

Sketches for Rugs

After dinner last night I sat out on the deck with my journal and sketched. Sometimes I worry I am going to run out of ideas..but no, I sketched out several ideas and I am excited to get started on them.
With the Festival over now, I am focusing on the Fibre Festival in Amherst in Oct. and then The NSDCC in Nov. ...a busy hooker...

NS Folk Art Festival 2012..soooo nice.

Ahhhh, another very fun Festival!! It was all so exciting! Lots of rugs are off to new homes, had a chance to see some familiar faces and meet some new people. It is really great when you can do something you love and others appreciate it. I am on cloud nine right now.
