Demonstrating

I 'll be at the Designer Craft Show this year..not as a vendor as I have to focus on the Mary E. Black show..but I will be demonstrating on Sat. Nov 21 1:30-3pm..so come on out and I 'll show ya how to hook!

Just getting these two rugs ready to mail off to Ontario...sales have been booming lately..thank you for your support everyone...really appreciate it.

Judy's Wedding Day

Judy was looking thru some old pics of her wedding day. Her cousin Larry was the minister and the camera guy ..and well, it is hard to do two things at once...and her husband got left out of the shot. Note: Little Trudy was born one month later....Judy told everyone she was 8 months premature..and they bought it...or so the story goes.

Deanne Fitzpatrick

I just got back from Deanne Fitzpratrick's shop in Amherst.
I had broken my hook so I was in need of a replacement.
I walked out of the shop with a new hook...and well, a few other things.
It was like going to the grocery store when you are hungry.
I am so grateful for Deanne.
She was the one who got me started on this rug hooking path.
So grateful.

On the Line

I found some very nice brown plaid wool skirts at Louis' yesterday..added some yellow dye..and ta da!.. I have some yumminess to hook with.

Focusing

I am making rugs for the Mary E. Black show which will be in May 2016 in Halifax.
I won't be able to do NSDCC this year.
I gotta focus.
Putting a lot of pressure on myself..I want this to be great.
