Rugs went on a road trip.

On Saturday..me, my husband, my two lovely children, two cats and 17 lighthouse rugs went to the valley to Harvest Gallery in Wolfville. And now, the rugs are in Laurel's capable hands and ...just four more days till the opening. YES!

Photo Shoot

This last batch of rugs will be off for a photo shoot this evening. I have brushed their teeth, combed their hair..gave them nice outfits, and yet, I worry I will trip and drop them in a puddle and their pictures won't turn out so great.

Fall SOLD

We went hiking up to Wentworth on the weekend...and... oh my, the trees were looking so lovely all dressed up in their fall colours.

Interview questions

A very nice woman sent me some interview questions to answer for the local paper and one of the questions was,

Professionally, what are your goals?

My answer...

I have always wanted to have a solo show and I recently found out that the proposal we submitted was successful. So, that is going to take place at the Mary E.Black Gallery in Halifax in 2016. Another goal I have is to write a book about my rugs and I have made an attempt and quickly came to the conclusion I would prefer someone else write the book. It's good to know when to delegate.
