In the middle of getting ready for this.
Hoping to have 30 rugs to bring.
Why 30?
I have no idea..seemed like a good number to shoot for..and, I think I am going to do it.
I am going to have lighthouses, Judy, cats, crows, ballerinas..and the kitchen sink.

Peggy's Crowd SOLD

I love lighthouses...but when we visit Peggy's Cove, Nova Scotia's iconic lighthouse, in the summer..well, the crowds freak me out.

The galleries are back in business.

A few of the galleries close down in the winter but I just sent rugs off to Sunset Gallery in Cheticamp and this Friday I 'll be driving up to Maitland to deliver some rugs for Gallery 215...it's been a long winter, but spring has sprung and we are back in business! Sunset is opening May15th and the opening for Gallery 215 is June 1st.

I am reading "Lighthouse Legacies: Stories of Nova Scotia's Lightkeeping Families" by Chris Mills. I was up most of the night thinking about the stories and the images that came to my mind. Great book.....lots of rugs to make.
